The Eachine EV800 is a unique headset. The front half of the goggle body slides apart from the rear half and can be threaded onto a camera tripod and used as a stand alone FPV monitor with built in sunshades! It has been well received by the FPV community due to it's affordability and usefulness not only as a primary google but as a secondary google that can be used to "take people for rides".
The EV800 is smaller and lighter than many box goggles, making them ideal for young people and less of a burden to transport. Screen resolution is 800 x 480px and is focused with a nice and clear fresnel lens. The built in OSD displays battery capacity as well as the current video channel. The displayed information is not distracting as it is small and high up the screen. The search function performs very well and is easy to use. Just push the search button and in 3-5 seconds the EV800's lock onto your aircraft's transmitter.
