The FrSky Archer SR6 receiver is the ACCESS cousin of the original S6R. Inside is a 3 axis gyro and accelerometer, but at the heart of it is the new and exciting ACCESS protocol, which allows for Over The Air firmware updates (OTA), greater range and telemetry performance as well as a configurable S.port, F.port and now F.port 2.0 for further expansion of sensors and other devices.
Use either your radio's LUA script or the FrSky S.port Airlink+ combined with either the Freelink app or your computer. Turn it on or off and fine tune the values from your FrSky radio.
Use the SR6 in a redundant setup with any other FrSky ACCESS SBUS capable receiver via the SBUS input and the SR6 will switch to the second receiver should there be any signal problems.
Like the other stabilized receivers from FrSky there is a rather difficult setup orocess that must be performed to use the stabilized flight features to their full capability. Once done this is a wonderful product, but the process can be daunting. We highly recommend if you are new to this to check our forums for help should you run into trouble.
The radio will need to be running the most recent IXJT v2.1.x firmware to use Archer receivers!
