As an add on to our Linker+ the iMSB is designed to work with 2.4GHz telemetry enabled RC transmitter systems. It integrates a wide range of telemetry sensor available on the market.
iMSB offers a state of the art replacement for transmitter and external telemetry displays, including many more advanced features. iMSB is fully customizable supports several model definitions and allows tracking vital information from your model. Flight data is displayed in an easy to read form on several thematic views in analogue or digital form. iMSB not only displays real-time flight data, but is able to record and save flight sessions for later playback and analysis. It can be configured to alert when critical values are reached and provides valuable flight time statistics data. Additionally, in order to enhance safety and as modellers generally focus on their model rather than on a telemetry display iMSB fully supports voice based commands and announcements.
iMSB FrSky operates with FrSky OpenTX enabled 2.4 GHz transmitter systems. It is compatible with FrSky S.Port enabled receivers (X-Series) and S.Port telemetry sensors from various vendors.
Real time data is transferred between the transmitter and an iPhone or iPad via the iMSB Bluetooth Smart interface . But even if your transmitter is not yet ready for real-time logging, you can jump start exploring the power of iMSB with the built-in demo flight recordings.

In order to perform real-time data acquisition with iMSB a respective RC transmitter or Tx module equipped with a data or serial port is required. The transmission of real time telemetry data from the RC transmitter to an iOS device is performed over the iMSB Bluetooth smart device and needs to be installed in the transmitter.
Please note that iMSB FrSky only supports the S.Port telemetry protocol. Therefore your transmitter must be equipped with an X series transmitter module (XJT) and can only be operated with receivers of the same series.
The iMSB FrSky Bluetooth module must be either connected to transmitter serial port or to the pin header in the Tx module extension bay.

Installing the iMSB into the Aloft Hobbies Linker+. The Linker+ is designed to accept the iMSB module, you just open the linker and plug it in. Here's a LINK to the Linker+ if your curious.
In order to output usable telemetry data you need to activate the external Tx module in your radio’s settings.
