Used two of these for elevons in a 1.8m plank. Over 6 months (it was a really slow build) I have bench-flown with them many times and although 'chatty', they always centre well and have good precision.
On the maiden landing I face-planted and flipped the wing over on to the elevons. This broke the supplied nylon servo horn but has not affected the servo (as far as I can tell) at all. I guess that's pretty good evidence that these servos can take a knock!
Highly recommend getting the ply servo-frame as well. These make placing the servo much easier and they are a nice cutout template too.
(Note: Like most high end digitals, these will not tolerate poor connectors or bad solder joints. this can contribute to servo noise.)
Bought eight servos here and use in my two F3J planes. Amazing servos, perfect centering, high torque! Plan buy more in future and hope for same quality.
