NOTE: We get a lot of calls asking us if these are the new versions. Yes! All of our KST servos are typically one month old or less. Colors from KST change, our current servos tend to be red in color.
Blistering speed is the name of the game with this alloy cased digital coreless servo. With a 3.7kg.cm torque rating the KST DS215 is appropriate for many high demand uses including high speed gliders, helicopters and sport planes.

they are super fast and they do what they are told. my set have survived 3 crashes(one re kit) on EF laser 48 and 2 small mishaps on the AJ laser. i had to replace a gearset on the last 2. i would use the same servo this size plane.
Replaced my align ds415mg servos with these and totally changed the way my Heli flew. Ds415mg have so much slop. These have zero slop. Literally zero slop. Hovers are much more stable and FF flight is much smother. Gears are alot cheaper as well. I haven't crashed mine yet so I can't tell you how fragile they are to stripping. But the align servos strip very easy. Highly recommend. I flying a trex 450 plus DFC.
Got these to replace the stock 410 servos that came with 450 pro 3GX. Running them on all 3 cyclic.
Very happy with the purchase. They have a high quality feel to them. Very smooth and center well. I am running them at 6v using a CC Phoenix Ice Light 50 esc which has a 5 amp bec. I've put about 20 packs through the set up and no issues to report.
The fact that gear sets are $6 is a real bonus.
Will be trying KST servos in my gliders as well.
I got 3 of these for the cyclic on my align trex 450 dfc. These look and feel like professioal grade servos. Reviews are all good so I thought I would try em since my hitec's broke. Im very happy with my purchase thus far. Great email support from Wane. These do have thread lock on the screws, least the ones I got did.
Have these on a 450 class (mini protos) on the tail and head with the Ikon FBL controller (highly recommended), and the castle ice lite 50 at 7.4v bec. I have my gains cranked way higher (nearly double) and of my other heli's and servo setups,, still inching my way up on the gains and no shutter yet, or tail problems yet. Heli handles like it's on rails these Servo's are incredibly fast and precise. This bird is locked!!
I have about 15 flights on them so far and not a bit of trouble, no crashes yet, but gear sets and arms are cheap just in case. Buy them for your new build or buy them to replace your favorite servos, you'll be happy you did!!
I put these on my trex450, both cyclic and tail, and have over 50 flights on them now. Perfect is the only description. Thanks Aloft!
bought this servo for my trex250, man was i amazed. this servo is awesome, zero's perfect and holds great. would definately recommend it.
