Nice, fine lead shot. 1lb per bag so a pretty solid deal as well. 4 stars because I bought 5 lbs and it came in a larger bag which was cut and some of the shot was floating around the box with my x9e and coming out of the corners. Got all over a friend's house. No harm done after 5 minutes with a vacuum but worth mentioning. Will buy again as needed.
Just thought i would leave a second review lol since i have been getting a lot of use out of these. Heres a tip i have been using. I save those little bags that your servo arms come in and i have several of them now that i use as faux parts to get CG. So when setting up my fpv planes i have one that says "gopro" in black sharpie and another that says "mobius" etc. That way you can get your plane trimmed without risking high price gear.
First, i was surprised at how much you get for the money. Really good price. Secondly, in use, this stuff is so much easier to work with. I have just been using a soldering iron to make a hole in the nose of my planes. Fill with lead shot to get cg, Put some glue on top. Done.
This appears to be #12 lead shot, so each shot is a little over 1mm. I replaced 7 gram lead weights in the nose of my Xplorer with this lead shot placed in a small space in the tip of the nose skeg, so the weight would be as far forward as possible. Because the shots are so small they conform to odd shapes easily. Also most lead weights come in set sizes, with this I added exactly how much I needed. Nice to be able to buy just a pound, a pound should last me a lifetime of flying!
