The 900MHz R9 Mini-OTA receiver implements the ACCESS protocol and brings improved performance and supports wireless firmware updates (OTA = Over The Air). Binding to receivers is easier too with no more holding the F/S button. Not to mention the convenience of checking the current receiver firmware version from the comfort of your own transmitter.
The R9 Mini’s compact form factor design is also carried over to the OTA version which supports redundancy as well.
It also has 4 PWM outputs for use with normal servos. Just solder all the positive and negative servo leads to the GND and V_IN and the signal leads to the channel outputs.
