We have been testing many different components in our Slow Sticks and have settled on this group of parts as having the best durability, performance, and price. We have also listed some optional items just incase the main item is out of stock, or as an upgrade from the lower priced option. This gives you some flexibility in outfitting your Slow Stick.
With our motor we prefer the 1800 sized battery as we do need the nose weight to make a good balance on the plane, and we figure you might as well carry a little more battery for even more flight time.
This power/control system is an excellent way for the beginner pilot to have a plane that can grow with them.
More experienced pilots can run this same motor with more aggressive propellers like our suggested GWS 9x5 to give their Slow Stick plenty of power, unlimited vertical, loops for days and a full power take off roll of about 3 inches.
Check out this video detailing the power system.

If you like our list of components just click on the ADD TO CART button after choosing the correct quantities of each part you desire! We have the list setup to the defaults to build the stock kit.
If you don't need everything on the list, simply change the quantity to zero for each un-needed component before clicking the ADD TO CART button.
The 9x5 GWS propeller hub needs to be drilled out to 5mm before it will fit onto the motor shaft.
If you find that the propeller is turning the wrong direction ( the prop is blowing air out in front of the plane instead of blowing it over the wing and tail), switch ANY two of the three motor wires and the motor will reverse direction.
Note: From time to time we may update this listing as a result of an item no longer visually matching the item in the main picture -- rest assured the performance will be the same or better!
