Covering airplanes is not for everyone; personally I enjoy doing one up every once in a while. Having access to the wing structure allows for the addition of carbon reinforcement (not that Avia needs it, but I can never leave well enough alone) here and there to help stiffen things up or provide that extra bit of torsional rigidity. Once that is done, I enjoy choosing my own color schemes and patterns to give the plane that unique "there's only one like this one" feel.
The Avia is a an excellent thermal ship that features a sleek fiberglass fuselage that is light yet strong with ample room for gear. A beautiful transparent wing and a v-tail offer excellent performance. The MH32mod airfoil allows the Avia to float around in a thermal, yet also speed through the sink when searching for the next lift bubble.
Build quality from TopModels is always excellent. This model is no exception. This plane is nearly ready to fly, just install your radio and enjoy.
