The Hawk is the very popular predecessor to the Iago. The first thing we noticed was the build quality. Blemish free hinges and surfaces, practically non-existent mold lines, perfect layups of glass & expanded carbon, and well-placed reinforcement. Under the hatch are four servos (on the ARF version), connected to the tail surfaces through a pull/spring system to minimize nose weight. The aileron pushrods smoothly exit the fuse to slide into control arms with a simple "L" to minimize drag and ease disassembly. For assembly, two screws for the both the wing and horizontal transfer the stress of launch and landing to the gap-free reinforced saddles. The hinge lines are well-cut and clean, and do little to affect the crisp paint job applied to the upper and lower surface to maximize visibility when you inevitably end up high in the sky. The rear fuse is carbon, while the front is made from 2.4 GHz friendly fiberglass.
The ARF versions include 4 servos, linkages, horns, springs, throwing blade, and rudder all installed for you. Just add your battery and receiver to complete.
Kit versions come as the airframe with basic hardware - including control horns, pushrod wires, tail torque springs, tail pull cord, pull cord ferrules, a throwing blade, and a glass plate for servo mounting
