Away from electrical loads, carbon fiber and metal. For carbon fiber planes we suggest you drill a hole and extend the unshielded portion of the antenna to the outside of the aircraft.

This antenna is equipped with a balun. that is the black cylinder at the end of the antenna. The balun helps the antenna work more efficiently by removing unwanted signal components. Sold individually.
