If you are like us, you have tried a number of hobby vices, and many simply don't work well. Same goes for many "helping hands" setups for soldering. Enter the 3 in 1 hobby vice.
We originally built this vice for use in our electronics work area, soon visitors were asking if they could get one after they spotted it on the bench. We joined a vice, a helping hand and a fume extractor into a single unit.
We start off with a simple but functional vice with replaceable jaw inserts. Great for holding small items, connectors or securing stocks, etc. We then equipped it with an alligator clip on a flexible segmented arm that stays where you need it, great for holding wire exactly where it needs to be. We then added a USB powered fan for moving fumes away from your face while soldering.
Simply snap the arms onto the mounts on the vice, making sure the pin lines up, and you're ready to go! Arms can be removed if needed.
