It is possible for a servo to fail and suck all of the amps from your power system, these little inline 5 amp fuses act as a safety. Should a device plugged into this protection cable draw more than 5 amps, the fuse will pop, and you will still have use of your other devices in the model. Typically these will be used on servos.
