The First + may be just a bit more wing span than the Mefisto, but this is a much more substantial plane designed for slope fun. A slightly longer, but much beefier and more robust fuselage with a faster and stronger 2 piece wing.
The First + has been designed for slope use. With a heavy lay up fuse fuselage that has lots of space for ballast and ample carbon reinforcements, this plane is ready to play! With lots of flap you will also be able to land with precision. As always you get the beautiful black poplar veneered wings with all surfaces using live hinges and some of the tightest surface gaps we have seen on a wooden plane. You will love this plane!
All Blejzyk kits feature beautifully sheeted, fully shaped and sanded wings and tails. Beneath the wood sheeting you will find a sandwich of foam cores and a layer of epoxy fiberglass for added strength in key areas. The epoxy fiberglass fuselages get the full treatment too, they are very well made with an eye towards strength and keeping weight down. Carbon tow has been added in high stress areas. We like that the designer has given us room for radio gear and ballast or motor/batteries, but still slender and sleek. Most kits feature a slip on nose cone for a very easy radio install.
