The Soleo is a compact flying wing with very balanced flight characteristics. It is a brisk all-rounder and a maneuverable runabout on slopes, but it also circles calmly in lift. The recommended electric drive brings it quickly to a comfortable starting height.
With its compact dimensions and the two-piece wing, the model can be easily transported and assembled at the airfield in no time.
The Soleo has a white gel-coat fiberglass fuselage with a pre-installed firewall and wood wings. The wing is assembled on a jig, which enables a secure positioning of all components and a distortion-free assembly. The wing is partially sheeted and has generously dimensioned wing-tip fins.
The kit comes with a fiberglass fuselage, laser cut and milled parts for the wing construction, sheeting material, jig, 3D construction manual, various small parts. The build manual, unfortunately, is written in German; the pictures however are in English ;). The build manual is so heavily 3D illustrated you don't need to be able to read the instructions to understand what they are telling you. In addition many of the kit parts are numbered and can be referenced in the build manual. If you get stuck and need to read the instructions, get the google translate app for your phone.
The drive recommendation can be found at the bottom of this page. We recommend a 3S Lipo battery with 1800-2400 mAh.
