Here's a handy motor mount kit that can be used on smaller aircraft or anyway you see fit.

The mount is cut from  (3mm) lite plywood and weighs in at only 9 grams. There is also relief cut-out on the firewall to allow the motor wires to enter the fuselage. See the pictures for structural dimensions and bolt pattern spacing.
