An exciting, molded sport glider that will draw a crowd!
From TJIRC, the makers of the popular Mini Q comes the Magnus 60 sport slope glider! We've been waiting for this one ever since we saw videos of it. It's relatively small with its 1.5 meter wingspan and 900mm length and easy to store and transport due to its 2 piece main wing and bolt on horizontal stabilizer.
It's made with a new epoxy composition which is even harder and tougher than standard epoxy. In the air this thing is FAST, it really slips through the air and can perform plenty of aerobatics and its carbon fiber reinforced airframe makes it more suitable for DS pilots who have a need for speed. Overall, this glider is sure to turn heads at the slope as it whistles on by.

Bueutiful and beautifully packed
I'm really hoping that this is going to be my go-to fun to fly airplane, it is so well made, and I can't say enough about how well packed it was in order to make sure that it arrived safely. Dealing with Aloft is always easy and predictable.

It really rips!
This is my first carbon plane, and I am really pleased with it. I was surprised when the servos I bought did on fit in the aileron bays, so I had to get some 8mm servos for those. Other than that the build went well, and did not take too long. I flew it yesterday for the first time in 15mph wind at my local slope, and it was near perfect. A couple clicks of up and it was flying right. It really rips on the fast pass and slows down nice to land, I cant wait to add some ballast and fly it in a big wind.

Bang for the Buck Winner
This plane is really a tremendous value for a 60" plane, especially in carbon. Two-piece wing, conventional tail, takes a licking and keeps on ticking! For folks who like to fly the wrong side of the hill, it's also a capable DS machine. 238 mph so far with only minor mods. Can't recommend it highly enough.

One of the best 60"
I am blown away by this plane. It flies so well and have no bad habits. I have the carbon version which I mainly use it for DS'ing and it does a fantastic job. So far I have only hit the 140mph range and is super solid and holds the line well. I am still waiting for good days to hit some more laps, but cannot wait. I am super jazzed about the performance as well as the price! WOW! This plane is definitely taking over the Sunbird as being the 60" you have to have in your quiver. If you are thinking about a 60", you will not be disappointed with this winner!

Great Value
Took delivery of the carbon Magnus 60 last week and am in the midst of building it. So far it seems like a well-built, quality airframe. Nice finish work, wings are strong and fuse is impressively laid-up, especially the boom. I will be DSing mine and so I decided to stiffen the stab. It's large and not nearly as stiff as the wing. I glued a carbon rod inside the hingeline and glued an aluminum tube on the elevator side to help minimize twisting. Easy mod and I think it will work well. That said, there's no way to beat this plane for the price. Seems like an outstanding value.
