SPORTY is an easy-to-build aileron & flap trainer with excellent low-speed flight characteristics. The manoeuvrable model is controlled using the elevator, ailerons and rudder. The model can also be equipped with landing flaps.
The wing is constructed in two parts and goes together nicely thanks to the slipway build method.
Due to its low flying speed, Sporty is ideal for learning to fly a motorized model. The very detailed building instructions with 3D step-by-step drawings guide you through the entire construction process. Covering paper is included in the kit for covering the wings and tail unit, and the building instructions also include a detailed video tutorial explaining how to cover the wings.
The kit contains: All components made of laser-cut wood, small parts, linkages, covering paper for tail units, undercarriage with wheels, detailed building instructions.
An optional tow release can be installed, the parts for which are already included in the kit. All you need is an additional servo. The tow release can be used to tow smaller glider models such as the Lilienthal 40 to altitude. An ideal trainer for anyone who wants to learn how to tow.
