We are pleased to offer the VP Models as they are true masters of the XPS bagged wing construction methods. The results of this method are very competitive models with a very attractive price point. With a focus on the competition pilot but priced in a range where non-professionals can enjoy them.

The Tatrman F5J is just that, VP models' most F5J-focused aircraft for a fraction of the cost of comparable models. The 3.9 meter span, 3 piece vacuum bagged wing and tail are made from an XPS core sheeted in biaxial carbon fiber, giving the model excellent torsional rigidity and significantly higher surface resistance compared to models utilizing mostly glass fiber. Additional longitudinal strength is provided by a carbon flange with a web under the biaxial surface at the wing joints. 

The rudder is laminated in a combination of biaxial and glass fabric, which is very stiff and features a color dyed core, which glows beautifully in the sun.

The Tatrman F5J uses a combination of modified AG airfoils that allow for exceptional thermal and penetration performance. Full camber/reflex of the trailing edge ensures a wide range of performance for various conditions. The fuselage is all carbon with hardened reinforcement in fragile areas, there is even a ballast chamber.
