This is the long-awaited replacement for the classic Typhoon designed by Dr. James D. Hammond over 15 years ago. With over 2,500 sold, the Typhoon is now the biggest-selling 2-metre composite model of all time. Originally intended to introduce moulded models, it has been the first model for many, a trainer, and a good-flying, reliable, and easy-to-install model for hundreds of slope flyers.

Everything has been improved in the new version in both construction and aerodynamics, while the basic dimensions and curves that distinguish the model from its peers and have made it a classic remain. The all-new Toccata is lighter, stronger, faster, and slower on landing than the original; it maintains its easy-to-install radio and has the added benefit of better flying performance, especially in light winds and with better acceleration and more energy retention!

At Aloft we love the huge wing joiners in all of the Aeroic models.

Toccata is electric-ready with the removal of the nose.

The wings on all of Aeroic's models are the result of decades of model design and refinement, There is no other models with this planform or airfoils. And this refinement really shows in the performance.

The "sinusoidal" wave spar creates a very strong and torsional wing:

Think lower weight and higher mechanical stiffness, it's a win win.

The Toccata is available in three layups, Light, Standard and Super Sport. The Super Sport, has additional carbon in the layup providing greater stiffness for performance flying. That Standard layup is perfect for most sane pilots, this is a carbon layup and can deal with heavy lift conditions. Super Sport is for the insane folks.

A generous servo bay in the base of the tail makes installing the 6 to 8mm thick tail servos much easier.
